Show flashcards of the words from the song (hands, house, hammer, hot, hair, heart, hat, hungry, hole, helicopter, hill, horse). Say each word clearly and have students repeat it after you. Ask students to point to the picture that matches the word. For added interactivity, make students do an action for each word. E.g. Hands (wave their hands), house (pretend to build a house), etc. - 'H' Sound Hunt (5 mins)
Ask students to look around the classroom for things that start with the 'H' sound (e.g., hat, hand, hair – if applicable). If they find something, have them say the word and emphasize the 'H' sound. If there are no relevant words, use pictures instead, and place them around the room for the students to find. - Letter H Writing Practice (5 mins)
