  • Practice Blending (8 mins)
    After the video, write the blends from the video (og, op, ot, od, ob, ox) on a whiteboard or large paper. Point to each blend and have the children say it together. Then, have individual children try to say the blends.
  • Blending Game (5 mins)
    Write the letter 'o' on one index card and various consonants (g, p, t, d, b, x) on separate index cards. Have the children pick one card with 'o' and one consonant card, then try to blend the sounds together.
