    After the video, write the words 'pig,' 'big,' 'dig,' 'wig,' 'jig,' and 'fig' on a whiteboard or chart paper. Point out the letter 'i' in each word. Say each word clearly and have the students repeat after you.
  • Rhyme Time (10 mins)
    Explain what rhyming words are. Ask students to identify which words from the list rhyme. For example, 'pig,' 'dig,' 'wig,' 'jig,' and 'fig' all rhyme. Play a rhyming game where you say a word and they have to say one that rhymes.
  • Sing-Along (10 mins)
    Play the video again and have the students sing along. Emphasize the different volumes (loudly, softly). Encourage them to do the actions (digging, wearing a wig, jigging).
  • Creative Drawing (10 mins)
    Give each student a piece of paper and crayons. Have them draw their favorite part of the song. Encourage them to label their drawing with the words they learned (pig, wig, etc.)
