- Introduction (5 mins)
Begin by asking the children if they know the letter C. Show them a picture of an uppercase C and a lowercase c. Ask them if they know any words that start with the letter C. Tell them they are going to learn a song about the letter C. - Video Viewing (3 mins)
Play 'The Letter C Song' video from ABCmouse.com. Encourage the children to sing along and dance to the calypso music. - Vocabulary Exploration (7 mins)
After the video, write down on a whiteboard or large paper, the words starting with C that were mentioned in the song: candle, cook, curiosity, camera, car, cow, crane, cartoon, canoe, candy cane, carrot, cake, coconut, cookies, cocoa, Cammy, Carly, canyon, cowboy, clown, cousins, Connor, calico, cat, crazy, couch, cushion. Show pictures of each item or act out the word. Have the children repeat each word and talk about what the word means. - Sound Practice (5 mins)
Practice the 'c' sound by repeating the words from the video. Play a game where you say a word, and the children say if it starts with the 'c' sound. For example, 'cat' (yes!), 'apple' (no!). - Creative Extension (5 mins)
Have the children draw a picture of something that starts with the letter C. As them to label their drawing with the letter C.

Hide objects around the room that start with the letter C (e.g., a toy car, a crayon, a comb). Have the children find the objects and name them. - Limbo Game
