Play the 'Rhyming Words For Kindergartners' video by Dr. Gaston Woodland. Encourage students to sing along and clap to the beat. - Discussion (5 mins)
After the video, ask students what rhyming words they heard in the song. Write them on the board or chart paper. - Rhyme Time Game (10 mins)
Play a rhyming game. Say a word, and have the students shout out a word that rhymes with it. For example, say 'sun' and they can say 'run' or 'fun'. - Worksheet Activity (10 mins)
Distribute a simple worksheet with pictures of objects. Have students draw a line connecting pictures that rhyme. (e.g., cat to hat, dog to log).
