Practice making the /g/ sound together. Put your hands on your throat to feel the vibration. Say the words from the video: gift, goat, girl, gate, green, gum, hog, rug, mug. Encourage students to repeat after you. - /g/ Sound Word Hunt (5 mins)
Teacher will call out words and ask the students to stand up if the word starts with the /g/ sound. Example words: cat, gate, dog, green, fish, gum. - /g/ Sound Picture Match (5 mins)
