Educator Instructions
- Introduction (5 mins)
Greet students and introduce the topic: learning the alphabet! Explain that they will watch a fun video with funny people characters who will help them learn. - Video Viewing (5 mins)
Play the 'Learn the Alphabet! Learn the ABCs with our funny people characters. Fun learning for children.' video from TinyGrads (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VyfmtOlgRg). Ensure all students can see and hear clearly. - Alphabet Song Sing-Along (5 mins)
After the video, sing the alphabet song together as a class. Point to a large alphabet chart while singing to reinforce letter recognition. - Letter Flashcard Activity (10 mins)
Show large letter flashcards (both uppercase and lowercase). Ask students to name the letter and, if possible, the sound it makes. Provide positive reinforcement and assistance as needed. - Letter Sound Game (5 mins)
Play a simple game where you say a letter sound and ask students to name a word that starts with that sound. For example, “The sound is /b/. What starts with /b/?” (ball, bat, book).

- Letter Matching Game
Provide students with matching cards - uppercase letter on one card, and corresponding lowercase on the other. Have them match the pairs. - Alphabet Coloring Page
Give each student an alphabet coloring page. Have them color their favorite letters.
