Play the 'Write the letter S' video from The Singing Walrus. Encourage students to watch carefully and listen to the instructions. - Guided Practice (10 mins)
After the video, guide students in practicing writing the letter 'S'. Use the free practice sheet from The Singing Walrus website (link provided in video description). Demonstrate the formation of the capital 'S' and lowercase 's' on the board. Have students trace the letters on their practice sheets and then try writing them independently. - Snail Connection (2 mins)
