  • Lowercase r (10 mins)
    After watching the video segment on lowercase 'r', guide students in practicing writing it. Use large paper or whiteboards. Break down the steps: 'Start in the middle and make a line down. Go back up and make a little curve!' Model the letter formation on the board.
  • R is for Rabbit (5 mins)
    Show a picture of a rabbit. Say 'R is for Rabbit!' Have students repeat. Ask them to hop like a rabbit.
  • Practice and Review (10 mins)
    Provide worksheets with dotted lines for tracing uppercase and lowercase 'R'. Encourage students to say the steps as they trace. Circulate and provide individual assistance.
