Play the 123ABCtv video "Write the Letter V". Encourage the students to watch carefully how the letter V is formed in both uppercase and lowercase. - Uppercase V Practice (7 mins)
Guide students in writing uppercase V. Start by drawing a large uppercase V on the board. Explain each step: "Start at the top, diagonal line down, then diagonal line back up." Have students practice tracing the letter in the air, then on paper or whiteboards. - Lowercase v Practice (7 mins)
Guide students in writing lowercase v. Start by drawing a large lowercase v on the board. Explain each step: "Start in the middle, diagonal line down, then diagonal line back up." Have students practice tracing the letter in the air, then on paper or whiteboards. - V is for Vulture Activity (8 mins)
