    As a class, brainstorm as many words as you can that start with the letter 'D'. Write them on a whiteboard or large piece of paper. For each word, encourage the students to use it in a sentence.
  • Activity: Drawing 'D' (10 mins)
    Have students draw pictures of things that start with the letter 'D'. They can draw a dog, a drum, a donut, etc. Encourage them to label their drawings with the letter 'D'.
  • Conclusion (5 mins)
    Review the letter 'D' and the words they learned. Sing the 'Letter D' song one more time.
