  • H Word Hunt (10 mins)
    After the song, ask students to name words from the song that start with the letter H. Write the words on the board. Discuss what each word means and if they know of anything else that starts with 'H'. (Examples: hat, house, happy, hippo)
  • Letter H Craft (10 mins)
    Provide students with construction paper and crayons. Have them draw a big letter H (uppercase or lowercase) and then draw or paste pictures of things that start with the letter H around it. (Examples: horse, house, heart)
  • Wrap up (5 mins)
    Review letter H and it's sound. Have children say the words you have on the board that start with letter H, as a class.
