After the video, discuss the different sounds the letter U makes. Use examples from the song: 'uh' as in 'untie,' 'yu' as in 'use,' and 'oo' as in 'Umberto.' Have the children repeat the words and sounds after you. - U-Word Brainstorm (5 mins)
As a class, brainstorm more words that start with the letter U. Write them on the board or chart. Encourage participation and praise all attempts. - U-Art Activity (5 mins)
