Watch the 'Point of View Fun' video from Lincoln Learning Solutions. Tell students to pay attention to the story of the field mouse and the town mouse. - Discuss the Story (10 mins)
After the video, ask students about the characters in the story. Ask how the field mouse felt and how the town mouse felt. Prompt them to think about why they felt that way. - Act It Out! (10 mins)
Divide the class into two groups: Field Mice and Town Mice. Have each group act out a short scene from the story from their character's perspective. - Drawing Time (10 mins)
Have each student draw a picture of their favorite part of the story. Encourage them to think about which character's point of view their drawing shows. - Wrap Up (5 mins)
Review the concept of point of view. Ask students to share their drawings and explain what's happening from their character's perspective.
