- Introduction (5 mins)
Begin by gathering the students in a circle. Explain that they will be learning about positional words through a fun song and dance. Ask them if they know any positional words already (e.g., up, down). - Video Time (5 mins)
Play the 'Here We Go' video by Jack Hartmann. Encourage the students to watch and listen carefully to the words and movements. - Movement and Practice (10 mins)
Play the video again. This time, encourage the students to move along with Jack Hartmann. Pause the video after each positional word to emphasize the movement. For example, when the song says 'up,' have everyone reach up high. - Positional Word Game (10 mins)
Call out positional words and have the students demonstrate the corresponding movement. For example, say 'low' and have them crouch down. Vary the pace to keep them engaged. - Review and Wrap-up (5 mins)
Review the positional words learned in the lesson. Ask the students to name a few and demonstrate their movements. Sing the song one last time for fun.
