  • Noun Brainstorm (5 mins)
    After the video, ask students to name some people. List their responses on the board or chart paper, explaining that all of these are nouns. Repeat this process with places, animals, and things.
  • Noun Scavenger Hunt (10 mins)
    Have students look around the classroom and identify nouns they see. Ask them to categorize the nouns into people, places, animals, or things. Example prompts include: 'Can you find a thing in our classroom?' or 'Who is a person in our classroom?'
  • Drawing Nouns (7 mins)
    Provide each student with a piece of paper. Ask them to draw a picture of their favorite noun. It can be a person, place, animal, or thing. Have them share their drawings with the class and explain what noun they drew.
