After the video, write 'SN' on the board. Say the 'SN' sound together as a class. Write several words with the 'SN' blend (e.g., snap, snail, snow, sniff, snout). Have students repeat after you as you pronounce each word. Focus on clear pronunciation. - Word Building (10 mins)
Write the 'SN' blend on a flashcard. Also, have individual letter flashcards available. Ask students to suggest other sounds or letters that can be added to 'SN' to make a word. For instance, add 'ap' to make 'snap'. Then, have the students write the words on paper. - Review (5 mins)
