  • Counting with Objects (10 mins)
    Gather various objects (e.g., blocks, crayons, pencils). Ask students to count out specific numbers of objects (e.g., 'Can you give me 3 blocks?').
  • Number Writing Practice (10 mins)
    Provide students with worksheets or notebooks to practice writing the numbers 1 to 10. Help students associate the spoken number with the correct written numeral. Use visual aids, such as number charts, to assist them.
  • Counting Poem Activity (10 mins)
    Recite the poems from the video together. As you say each number, have the students clap that many times, or act out what the poem describes (e.g. wave one tail for 'one tail on my dog').
