Educator Instructions
- Introduction (5 mins)

Play the 'Count to 100 Silly Song' video by Jack Hartmann (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QIwkSVOflU). Encourage students to sing along and do the exercises in the video. After the video, ask students what their favorite exercise was and which numbers they were doing it for. - Counting Practice (10 mins)
After the video, lead the class in counting to 100 together, emphasizing each number. Break the students up into smaller groups. Have them count to 100, in rounds, with different voices (e.g., mouse voice, robot voice, monster voice). - Number Writing (10 mins)
Have students write the numbers 1-100 on a piece of paper, focusing on neatness and correct number formation. As an alternative, provide a worksheet with numbers 1-100 partially filled in, and have the students fill in the missing numbers. - Game Time: 'What Comes Next?' (5 mins)
Call out a number between 1 and 99, and have students shout out the number that comes next. Increase the challenge by calling out a number and asking what comes two numbers after, and so on.
Interactive Exercises
- Number Line Hop
Create a number line on the floor with tape or chalk, going from 1 to 100. Have students take turns hopping along the number line as they count. - Counting Jar
