Educator Instructions
- Introduction (5 mins)
Begin by asking students where they like to go in their town. Write their answers on the board. Explain that today they will be learning about different places we all share. - Video Time (5 mins)
Play the "Where Are You Going? | Places Song" video from English Tree TV. Encourage students to sing along. - Discussion (10 mins)
After the video, discuss the different places that were shown. Ask students what they do at each place. Use the discussion questions as a guide. - Activity: 'My Favorite Place' (15 mins)
Have each student draw a picture of their favorite place in the community and write a sentence about why they like it. Share the drawings with the class. - Wrap Up (5 mins)
Review the places learned in the video and activity. Ask students why these places are important to the community.
