Educator Instructions
- Introduction (5 mins)

Play the 'Verbs for Kids' video from Learn Bright (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEC0YpLKU_o). Encourage students to participate in the actions shown in the video (running, singing, walking). - Action Charades (10 mins)
Play a simple game of charades. Whisper an action word (verb) to a student, and have them act it out without speaking. Other students guess the action. Examples: jump, sleep, eat, draw, read. - Picture Verb Hunt (7 mins)
Show students pictures of people or animals doing different things (e.g., a dog barking, a girl reading, a boy kicking a ball). Ask them to identify the action word in each picture. Guide them to use simple sentences: 'The dog is barking.' 'The girl is reading.'
