  • What Clouds are Made Of (5 mins)
    Discuss what the video explains about cloud composition. Emphasize that clouds are made of tiny water droplets or ice crystals. Relate this to the water cycle if students are familiar.
  • What Clouds Do (5 mins)
    Explain how clouds bring rain and snow. Discuss how water droplets get bigger and bigger until they fall from the sky. Ask students about their experiences with rain and snow.
  • Cloud Types (10 mins)
    Describe the three main types of clouds: cumulus (fluffy), stratus (layered), and cirrus (wispy). Show pictures of each type and ask students if they have seen them before. Go outside (weather permitting) and observe the clouds in the sky. If not, use provided images of clouds.
  • Fog (5 mins)
    Explain that fog is a cloud that touches the ground. Ask if students have ever seen fog and what it was like.
  • Review and Wrap-up (5 mins)
    Review the key concepts learned in the video and discussion. Answer any remaining questions.
