- Introduction (5 mins)
Begin by asking students how they move (walk, run, jump). Introduce the video 'Animals on the Move' and explain that they will be learning about how different animals move. - Video Viewing (5 mins)
Play the video 'Animals on the Move' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds0LNFZipLU). Encourage students to pay attention to the different ways animals move. - Discussion (10 mins)
After the video, discuss the different ways animals move that were shown in the video. List them on the board (walk, run, fly, swim, slither, slide). Ask students to name other ways animals move. - Activity: Animal Movement Charades (15 mins)
Divide the class into small groups. Each group picks an animal and acts out how it moves without making any sounds. The other groups guess the animal and how it is moving.
